Peter graduated with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science degree from the University of Queensland in 1994 and was accepted as a Member of the Australian College of Veterinary Science (Small Animal Medicine) in 2003.
He then went on to complete a small animal residency program at Melbourne Veterinary Referral Centre, in 2005.
Peter returned to Queensland and worked as an internal medicine registrar at Veterinary Specialist Services in Brisbane until September 2009 when he moved to the Sunshine Coast and began work at North Coast Veterinary Specialists.
Peter completed his Specialist examinations in 2011 and return back to Veterinary Specialist Services in 2013.
