The Opportunity

Most if not all Veterinary practices have become significantly busier over the last 12 months. This is a big challenge, and we need the right people to help us achieve this.

The Purchasing Officer is responsible for managing supplier and hospital relationships, sourcing supplies and equipment, placing and tracking orders and inventory management. Providing a high quality of support to all levels of staff and assisting in the process of continuous improvement within the business while identifying and eliminating the root cause of issues and inefficiencies.  The role will also involve assisting with the development, implementation, monitoring and review of best practice policies and procedures, to ensure maximum efficiency.

The role will be best suited to someone who possesses previous demonstrated experience in a similar role. It will involve some travelling between our hospitals based in Southeast Queensland at Underwood, Jindalee and Carrara
