The Opportunity

We are a very unique veterinary hospital providing specialist veterinary care just for cats. 

We are known for delivering excellent care for cats and their owners, while trying to provide our team with the working environment that is sustainable for them. This is a big challenge, and we need the right people to help us achieve this. There is a part time and a full time position available. 

Reporting to the Reception Team Leader, this role is responsible for

• Delivering efficient, professional and welcoming ‘front line’ customer service both in person and over the phone.

• The effective scheduling of appointments.

• Preparing and issuing of invoices and processing of payments as well as providing general administration support.

What we are looking for

• A person who loves and understands how cats are different to dogs when visiting the vets!

• A person with demonstrated experience in a similar role and who can keep calm while under pressure.

• A person with exceptional customer service and communication skills with the ability to liaise with a diverse group of people.

• A person who has the ability to manage competing priorities, meet regular deadlines and is solution focussed.

About Us

Cat Specialist Services is a newly built cat hospital, however all of staff have been working in our partner hospital, Veterinary Specialist Services which is just next door. 

Veterinary Specialist Services is an established Small Animal referral hospital group located in South East Queensland.  This role is based at our Underwood hospital located in Brisbane.

We are striving to create an environment where people can do their best work helping cats. We are passionate about delivering the highest level of patient care and support each other to do it. We are also dedicated to supportive cat’s owners through difficult times.
