GP and Nurse Workshop - Jindalee

After the success of our Underwood workshop, VSS Jindalee will host another Feeding Tube Workshop, presented by Anita Parkin RVN, AVN, Dip (Surgery & ECC), VTS (Anesthesia & Analgesia), CVPP, TAE. 

This session will cover: Should a feeding tube be placed? What type of tube should be placed?  How to place different types of tubes. What foods can be placed down these tubes? How to stop the tube from blocking. Making the patient more comfortable during feeding. Resting energy requirements for the patient.
