Veterinary Nurse Fulltime Position

The role:

In this full time role you will provide high quality surgical nursing care for patients that require advanced surgical and diagnostic procedures, including orthopaedics, neurosurgery, minimally invasive surgery, soft tissue, and reconstructive surgery.

Who you are: 

  • A nurse with a Cert IV in Veterinary Nursing or a Veterinary Technologist degree with a keen interest in surgery, anaesthesia and training with a minimum of 3 years post certification experience surgical nurse.

  • Well-developed written and oral communication skills; the ability to provide coaching, mentoring and interact with individuals at all levels in the organisation

  • A team player with a strong work ethic, willing to assist your colleagues with training and continuing education with the aim that all nurses have the potential to progress in their career and learn to achieve their potential. 

  • Good problem-solving and decision-making skills, resourceful and the ability to effectively respond to new and dynamic situations and circumstances

  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills with the ability to independently manage multiple priorities and regular deadlines.
