Else graduated in 2009 from the University of Sydney with a Bachelor in Veterinary Science and a Bachelor in Science (Veterinary) for her research on equine tendon injuries. After graduation she stayed at Sydney University and completed an equine internship. Else then spent several years travelling around the world locuming at many different types of veterinary clinics and found her interest lay in small animal medicine. During her time abroad Else worked as a volunteer vet through a veterinary charity performing spey/neuter programs and treating sick dogs and cats in Greece and Africa!
Else moved back to Australia in 2016 and completed an internship, followed by a residency in small animal internal medicine at VSS. Fast forward to 2024, and Else has now proudly passed her Fellowship exams.
