Veterinary Internships

Veterinary Specialist Services have a long history of training interns who go on to successfully complete specialist training. A lot of our interns also follow other career paths, and they feed-back to us that the experience they gained during their internship helped them to achieve success in general practice, veterinary practice ownership or in a variety of other fields.

We look at candidates who are team players and who understand that the outcome is to deliver the best possible care for our patients, clients and referring veterinarians. We encourage interns to start a research project with us, so an interest in research is a quality we value. We also look for interns who can be flexible and adaptable to the ongoing change and growth of our practices.

There are opportunities for our rotating interns to return for a senior internship in a particular discipline or enrol in residency training programmes.
