Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS) opened our Jindalee location in partnership with Animal Emergency Services (AES) to provide 24-hour emergency and specialist care for pets.
VSS has been providing specialist veterinary care in South East Queensland for over 20 years and is fully equipped with leading veterinary equipment and an exceptionally talented and experienced team of specialists.
Consultations 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday

The Veterinary Specialist Team at Jindalee
There is no substitute for experience, so the new 24 hour Referral & Emergency Hospital is staffed by an incredibly broad and experienced team, including:
- Small Animal Surgery: Dr Abbie Tipler, Dr Cormac O'Brolchain and Dr Julian Lunn
- Internal Medicine: Dr Josh King, Dr Tessa Clark
- Ophthalmology: Dr Vicki Liddle and Dr Johana Premont
- Emergency and Critical Care: Dr Kisa Baldwin and Dr Philippa Williams-King and Dr Sara West
- Dentistry: Dr Rebecca Tucker and Dr Aaron Forsayeth from Advanced Animal Dentistry
- TPLO and Patella surgery: We offer capped-price TPLO and Patella surgery
OUR VETERINARY EQUIPMENT
The Team works in a fully equipped 24 hour Hospital with:
- Siemens SOMATOM Scope CT scanner
- MyLab Twice Ultrasound
- Radiology
- Endoscopy
- Arthroscopy
- Fully equipped surgical suites
- Separate dog and cat wards
- 24-hour Intensive care and ventilator support
- Veterinary MRI (in liaison with our Underwood Hospital or the University of Queensland)
- A Vet Portal providing Referring Clinics with direct access to patient's clinical records, pathology results and imaging, plus;
- Direct access to our appointment system for booking referrals.
- Emergency and Critical Care Veterinarians
- Advanced Animal Dentistry consulting on Monday and Tuesdays
These are just some of the facilities and systems to ensure exceptional diagnostics, expedited treatment plans and 'live' reporting to referring clinics throughout the entire treatment cycle while their patients are in our care.

Situated directly off the Centenary Highway, the Jindalee Animal Hospital is centrally located for direct and easy access from all directions.
Conveniently positioned at Jindalee 'Home', there is plenty of free on-site parking. Clients can drop off their pets for treatment or procedure and then spend time grabbing a bite to eat while they wait.
