Dr Gemma Spinoglio | Resident Small Animal Internal Medicine | VSS

Resident - Small Animal Internal Medicine

Gemma graduated from UQ Gatton 2017 with Hons. and did her final research review project on the use of intralipids in permethrin toxicosis in cats. Gemma developed an interest for the challenges of medicine during her rotating internship and fostered this through a senior medicine internship the following year working alongside Dr Peter Barron at Veterinary Specialist Services. Gemma enjoys the overlaps of diagnostic imaging with medicine, particularly ultrasound applications.

Continuing her career with Veterinary Specialist Services, Gemma can now be found undergoing her Residency at the Underwood hospital and looks forward to treating the many small white fluffies, just hopefully not her own Japanese Spitz Tia.

Her out of work interests include art crafts, painting, video games and considers herself to be quite the coffee connoisseur.
