Ambre (aka. "Amber") graduated from the University of Queensland in 2023 and is currently completing a rotating internship at VSS, where she has developed a keen interest in surgery. Originally from New Caledonia, she moved to Australia to pursue her passion for veterinary medicine.

Outside of her professional commitments, Ambre enjoys spending time with her rescue Labrador, Sunny, who is also a dedicated blood donor. In her free time, she loves staying active by practicing Pilates, surfing, riding her carver skateboard, and exploring the Gold Coast on her bike.

Area of special interest:  Small Animal Surgery; especially musculoskeletal anatomy, orthopaedics and physical rehabilitation

University/degree/year graduated:  Graduated from The University of Queensland in 2014 with First Class Honours

Previous veterinary experience:  Have worked for many years in mixed and small animal general practice, including locum work in the UK and veterinary volunteering trips overseas.

Any further information:  Outside of work I love trail running, hiking, horse riding and spending time at the beach!

Senior Internal Medicine Intern

Dr Pearlyn See is a dedicated Senior Internal Medicine Intern with a passion for all things medicine - particularly ultrasound and endoscopy - with a sprinkle of surgery. A proud graduate of the University of Sydney (BVSc, 2017), Dr See has journeyed through regional New South Wales and Queensland, embracing the joys and challenges of veterinary medicine in diverse settings.

Her clinical interests lie in internal medicine, where she thrives on diagnostic puzzles and the precision of advanced imaging techniques. She brings a thoughtful, compassionate approach to every case, always striving to provide the highest standard of care.

Outside of work, Pearlyn is an avid foodie and adventure-seeker - whether it’s hiking the Gold Coast Hinterland, snowboarding in South Korea or discovering new cafes. She also enjoys team sports, cooking and relaxing with a good book by the beach.


Dr. Arnav (Nav) Kunder

Arnav (Nav) Kunder

Rotating Medicine and Surgery Intern

Dr. Arnav also known as “Nav” is a rotating intern with a passion for orthopaedic and neurosurgery. Originally from Toronto, Canada, he moved to Australia in 2020 to pursue his veterinary degree, graduating from the University of Queensland with honours in 2024. Prior to vet school Dr. Kunder gained hands-on experience as a veterinary assistant in a small animal general practice and volunteered for a nonprofit farm to broaden his exposure to animal care.

Throughout his studies, he was awarded the Destination Australia Scholarship and received both the Dean’s Commendation for Academic Excellence and the Zoetis Rural Practice Award for outstanding performance in rural medicine in his final year. Dr. Kunder has also successfully completed the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), qualifying him to practice in North America.

He brings a compassionate, collaborative approach to veterinary medicine and enjoys forming meaningful relationships with clients and their pets. In his downtime, he enjoys cooking, going to the gym, and spending time with his German Shepherd ‘Hunter’, and Russian Blue cat ‘Luna’.

Dr Chelsea Boys recently graduated from the University of Queensland in 2024 with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (Honours) and is currently completing her rotating internship through surgery and medicine. During this time she has developed a keen interest in all things emergency and critical care. She enjoys the fast paced environment of emergency and thinking on your feet to treat and stabilise patients and looks forward to further developing her skills and knowledge in this area. Outside of work you’ll find Chelsea spending time with her Golden Retriever Mango, whether at the beach, curled up on the couch reading a book or on a long walk exploring the beautiful Gold Coast.
