DR ADAM HAKIM

Adam graduated from James Cook University in 2016. He began his career in mixed practice in Northern NSW,  then moved to Cairns, working in small animal general practice. Over a period of 8 years, he became a part owner and developed a predominant caseload of both primary and referral orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. Adam attained his membership in small animal surgery in 2021 and has been an examiner for multiple years since then. In January 2026, Adam moved to Brisbane to join the surgical team at VSS and has commenced a surgical residency. Outside of the hospital, Adam enjoys all things outdoors including hiking, freediving and snowboarding.
