DR JON SIRASCH

Jonathan graduated with his veterinary degree in 2010 and has built a broad and accomplished career across both general practice and emergency medicine.

During his final year at university, he began working with Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS) on the weekends and, after graduating, completed a rotating internship at VSS Carrara in 2011. In 2012, he moved to the United Kingdom, where he worked primarily in emergency medicine before returning to Australia to join Newcastle Animal Emergency Service for several years.

He later relocated to the Gold Coast, joining Animal Emergency Service (AES) at Carrara, before being offered a surgical residency with VSS Carrara. Today, he is a highly experienced surgical registrar and an integral member of the VSS surgical team.

Dr Sirasch holds Membership with the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists (MANZCVS) in Small Animal Surgery. He has a particular passion for orthopaedics, with a strong interest in restoring mobility, function, and quality of life for his patients.

Outside of the clinic, Jonathan enjoys spending time with his beloved Boxer, Mia.
