Veterinary Specialist Services are happy to be able to offer many minimally invasive procedures including thoracoscopic surgery. Thoracoscopic surgery involves the placement of a small portal into the thorax which allows placement of instruments and a camera to perform various procedures within the thorax. A common thoracoscopic procedure we perform is thoracoscopic pericardectomy for pericardial effusion.
