Position Overview: 

Due to continuous growth in referrals, we are thrilled to announce we have a vacancy for a Weekend Hospital Veterinarian. This position can be on a casual or permanent part time basis. Our Hospital Veterinarian will be mainly responsible for facilitating patient discharges (with support from client care, nurse and veterinary intern) along with overseeing our hospital in-patients over the weekend. We anticipate the role will span over both Saturday and Sunday between 8am and 5pm.

About our new Hospital Veterinarian:

  • You hold a BVSc or equivalent, and registration to practice in Australia.  

  • You have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and a passion to advance your career.

  • You can work independently in an after-hours setting however will have access to & support from our specialist team. 

  • You can multitask and handle a diverse range of cases.  

  • You are skilled at problem solving and decision making at both the clinical and individual level. 

  • You have exceptional communication skills and a collaborative spirit. 

  • You are skilled in problem solving and decision making. 

  • You are dedicated to ongoing professional development and staying at the forefront of medical advancements.
